Kutter · Version 1.4 · Effective 17 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Hello World Solution Co., Ltd. ("the Company" or "we") for your use of Kutter. By installing, using or signing in to Kutter you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. This English version is a translation; if it differs from the Thai version, the Thai version prevails.

1. The service

Kutter is a desktop app (Windows and macOS) that helps you transcribe, plan and edit video clips with AI. Your footage and project files stay on your computer and editing happens there. AI tasks (such as writing scripts, planning stories, transcription, voice-over and finding B-roll) run through the providers you choose, and the app sends only the data each task needs.

AI output (such as transcripts, scripts, cuts, post captions, voice-overs and translations) is generated automatically and may be wrong or incomplete. Always check it before you publish.

2. Accounts

AI tasks can use your own API keys, or Claude Code / Codex on your computer, without signing up for an AI service with us.
Plans, Credits, Founder Edition and Kutter AI (once available) belong to your Kutter account, which you sign in to with Google, using the same account as Hello Translator. One account is for one person, and you are responsible for activity on your account.
A licence is for one person. Subscriptions (Creator, Pro) and Founder Edition are for one person. Sharing an account between several people (for example a whole team or company) is not allowed. Paid plans can be signed in on up to 3 devices at the same time (Free: 1 device). Signing in on a device beyond that limit automatically signs out the device used least recently; project files on that device are not affected. If we find an account is being shared, we may sign out its devices or suspend the account under section 10.

3. Plans and fees

Free plan: ฿0 with no end date, within the Free plan limits shown on the pricing page and in the app.
Creator and Pro plans (monthly or yearly): paid in advance and renew automatically each period with the same payment method until you cancel. Plan benefits start when payment succeeds and last until the end of the paid period.
Cancel any time in the subscription management page (Stripe's Customer Portal, opened from the app). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; until then you keep full access, and you will not be charged again. There are no pro-rated refunds for the rest of the period.
You can switch plan or billing period (Creator / Pro, monthly / yearly) on the same page; the difference is pro-rated as shown before you confirm.
If a renewal payment fails, plan benefits continue until the end of the paid period, after which the account returns to the Free plan until payment succeeds. Your projects and files on your computer are not deleted.
Credit packs: one-time purchases that do not renew, used as described in section 4.
Payment: processed by Stripe on Stripe's checkout page, by card (monthly / yearly plans) or by card or PromptPay (Credit packs and Founder Edition). The Company never sees or stores your card number. Prices are in Thai baht and are final, with no extra charges. Prices and plan benefits are those shown on the pricing page and in the app at the time of purchase. If we change the price of an auto-renewing plan, we will tell you before the period in which the new price applies, and you can cancel first.
If you use your own API key, the provider's charges (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, ElevenLabs) are yours and are paid directly to that provider. Claude Code or Codex use the quota of your own plan with that provider.
Kutter AI (our own AI service, once available) is charged separately from Kutter plans and Credits. We will show its prices and terms in the app before charging anything.

Founder Edition (pay once, use forever)

Sold to the first 100 buyers only, for ฿4,990 — pay once, use forever, with no monthly fee. Sales close permanently once all 100 are sold.
Includes everything in Pro plus unlimited exports (no Credits deducted) for the lifetime of Kutter, including app updates, subject to fair use to prevent abuse. Founder Edition has no daily Credits and no plan Credits.
"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Kutter product for as long as the Company offers it, not the buyer's lifetime. If the Company decides to discontinue Kutter, we will give at least 90 days' advance notice.
Does not include future Kutter AI charges. Founder Edition belongs to the account that bought it and cannot be transferred, sold or given to another account.

4. Credits

Credits are units for exporting / saving clips in Kutter. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be transferred, sold or given to another account.
Kutter Credits are completely separate from Hello Translator coins and from Kutter AI charges: they cannot be used across them and balances cannot be moved between them.
Credits are only used when you export or save a clip, by clip length as shown on the pricing page and in the app before you export. Previewing, transcription, story planning and editing use no Credits. Exporting the same unchanged clip again within 7 days is not charged again. If you do not have enough Credits, nothing is deducted and the export does not start until you do.
If a render fails, its Credits are returned automatically to the batch they came from, with its original expiry.
Where Credits come from and when they expire ("day" means a calendar day in Thailand time, starting at midnight):
- Welcome Credits on sign-up: 15 Credits, once per account and per device, expiring 365 days after they are granted.
- Free daily Credits (Free plan): claimed in the app, 1 Credit a day, once a day per account and per device. A day not claimed is lost and does not accumulate. They expire 30 days after you claim them.
- Plan daily Credits (Creator 10 a day · Pro 30 a day): claimed in the app once a day per account; a day not claimed is lost and does not accumulate. They expire at the end of the billing period (on renewal the old batch expires and does not roll over).
- Plan Credits (Creator 100 · Pro 360): added each time a plan payment succeeds — every month on a monthly plan, once a year on a yearly plan — on top of daily Credits. Founder Edition does not get these. They expire at the end of the billing period they were added for (1 month after payment on a monthly plan, 12 months after payment on a yearly plan). None are added when you change plan mid-period. If that plan payment is refunded, any of those Credits you have not used are removed.
- Purchased Credit packs: expire 12 months after the purchase date.
On export the app uses the Credits closest to expiry first, whatever type they are (in order of expiry date).
We may change the Credits charged per clip or the number of free Credits in the future, with advance notice in the app and on the pricing page. Changes never reduce the Credits you already have.
Credits that expire, or that remain when an account is deleted or suspended under section 10, are not refunded as money or Credits.

5. Refunds

Payments for plans, Credit packs and Founder Edition are not refundable (including the rest of a period after you cancel a plan). Exceptions, for which we will refund or compensate in Credits as agreed with you:

You were charged twice for the same purchase.
Payment succeeded but the plan or Credits were not granted because of an error on our side.

You do not need to report failed renders: their Credits are returned automatically (section 4). When a purchase is refunded, its plan, Founder Edition or remaining Credits are cancelled.

Contact support@helloworld-solution.com within 30 days of payment with your account email and proof of payment. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer protection law.

6. AI sources and third-party services

Your API keys: stored on your computer (Windows Credential Manager / an encrypted file in the app's data folder on macOS) and never sent to the Company. Their use is also subject to that provider's terms.
Claude Code / Codex on your computer (experimental): the app calls programs you installed and signed in to yourself, using your plan's quota. Providers may change or limit this kind of use, and the Company never sees your login.
Kutter AI: data an AI task needs is passed through our servers to the AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
On-device Whisper transcription: your audio does not leave your computer.
B-roll videos and photos from Pexels, Pixabay, Wikimedia Commons and Openverse, and music / sounds from Openverse, are licensed by their creators (for example the Pexels License, the Pixabay Content License or Creative Commons). The app shows the licence and adds credits to the post caption; you are responsible for crediting and using them according to that licence.
CC BY / CC BY-SA images (from Wikimedia Commons or Openverse) always require credit to the creator. You must keep the credits the app adds to the post caption, and if you distribute an adapted CC BY-SA image you must share it under the same licence, as with music from Openverse.

7. Your content

The footage, audio and clips you create with Kutter are yours. The Company claims no rights in your work and does not use your footage to train AI.
Project files are stored on your computer and the Company does not back them up. Deleting a project in the app permanently deletes the files the app created (your original files are not touched).
You are responsible for having the rights to everything you put in a clip: images, audio, music, logos, fonts and the people who appear in it.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kutter to:

Create voice-overs or content that impersonate someone without their consent, or that are intended to mislead.
Create or distribute content that is illegal, infringes copyright, is defamatory or invades someone's privacy.
Download or import videos from links you have no right to use.
Reverse-engineer, modify or bypass licence checks, Credit metering or the Kutter AI relay; create multiple accounts to claim free Credits repeatedly; send abnormal volumes of requests; or do anything that harms the system or other users.

9. Software, updates and open-source components

The Kutter and Hello World Solution software, names, logos and mascot belong to the Company. The Company grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app under these terms. Open-source components shipped with the app or downloaded later (such as ffmpeg, whisper.cpp, the background-removal model and yt-dlp) are under their own licences, which take precedence over these terms for those components.

The app checks our servers for new versions and installs one only when you choose to update.

10. Suspension and limitation of liability

We may suspend or close an account (including its plan, Founder Edition and Credits) that breaches section 8, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
We work to keep the app and services running well, but they are provided as is and may be interrupted by maintenance, third-party providers or events beyond our control.
To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for damage arising from content you publish, lost project files, or charges from AI providers you chose yourself, and the Company's total liability is limited to the amount you paid the Company in the 3 months before the event. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The latest version is on this page with its effective date. For material changes we will notify you in the app in advance. Continuing to use Kutter after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Thai law and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Thai courts. If the Thai and English versions differ, the Thai version prevails.
