Help › Make a clip step by step

Kutter Magic makes your clip in one click

Already have footage? Press one button and the app picks the story, builds the Storyboard, finishes, and renders using your channel's settings. Then you can go back and adjust each step.

You have clips you've already shot but don't want to click through each step? Use Kutter Magic to have the app make the whole clip with your channel's settings, then go back and adjust any step you want to change.

1. Start

  1. Open an "มีฟุตเทจแล้ว" (I Have Footage) project and import your clips in the Footage step
  2. Press Kutter Magic ✨ ทำคลิปให้เลย (Kutter Magic ✨ Make My Clip) in the Kutter Magic box under the file drop area
  3. Before it starts, a window tells you: - what it will do for you, in order - which AI it uses, and the estimated AI cost - how many Credits the render uses (the same price as the Render step, based on your channel's clip length) · With Kutter AI you see the total: render + estimated AI cost - whether you need to sign in before rendering
  4. Press start. The app works in the background, so you can go to other pages. Watch the progress in the panel at the bottom right (press the arrow to minimize it).

2. What the app does for you

  1. Waits until all clips are transcribed
  2. AI suggests stories, then picks the best one for you (the other stories are still there, and you can switch later). If you already picked a story, it uses that one.
  3. Builds the Storyboard using your channel's tightness level and opening Hook
  4. Finds B-roll automatically. If most of your footage has no speech, it uses an AI voice-over over the footage instead.
  5. Finishes the clip with your channel's settings: cover, music, sound effects, transitions, keywords
  6. Renders the video, then takes you to the Render step. If you've rendered the exact same version before, it reuses that file and no Credits are deducted.

3. Stopping, or a step that didn't succeed

  • Press หยุด (Stop) at any time. Everything done so far stays in the project. Press ทำต่อ (Continue) to carry on.
  • If a step doesn't succeed, the panel tells you why and how to fix it. After fixing it, press ทำต่อจากขั้นนี้ (Continue from This Step) (this button is also in the Kutter Magic box in the Footage step), or เปิดขั้นนี้เอง (Open This Step Myself) to do that step yourself.
  • If you haven't signed in yet or don't have enough Credits, you can press ทำถึงขั้นตกแต่งก่อน (Go Up to Finish First), then render yourself in the Render step.

4. Adjust each step

The Render step has a What Kutter Magic did for you box that lists everything the app chose for you, with a button at the end of each line to edit it (point at a line to see full details).

  • Story line: เปลี่ยน (Change) picks another story AI suggested
  • Storyboard line: แก้ (Edit) to cut more, move scenes, or fix subtitles
  • B-roll line: เลือกเอง (Choose Myself) to pick pictures / B-roll yourself
  • Finish line: แก้ (Edit) to change the cover, music, or sound effects

After editing, press ตัดต่อใหม่ (Render Again) (an edited clip counts as a new export · exporting the same piece again within 7 days costs no extra Credits). For more on each step, see the Footage step and the Render step.
